Team of the Week: Round 19

Fullback: Darius Boyd.

Darius put in a great performance for the Broncos and was key to his sides win, notching 2 try assists, a line break and he also ran for 166 meters.


Wing: Marika Koroibete

Koroibete was simply unstoppable for Storm, scoring 2 tries, making 2 line breaks and he ran for a game high 283 meters.


Centre: Kane Linnett

Kane Linett was extremely dangerous against Manly and terrorised their right edge defence, earning himself a try, a try assist as well as running for 143 meters.


Centre: Blake Fergusson

Blake Fergusson was sensational for the Roosters, looking dangerous with every touch against the Warriors. He scored a try and made 3 line breaks, 7 tackle breaks and also ran for 238 meters.


Wing: Lachlan Maranta

Maranta is showing everyone that he is a quality finisher, racking up 3 Tries for the Broncos, as well as running for 137 meters and making a linebreak.


Five-Eighth: Blake Green

Blake Green played a great game scoring a try, earning 2 try assists as well as making a line break and running for 108 meters.


Halfback: Cooper Cronk.

Cooper Cronk was at his usual best for the Storm, guiding their attack despite leaving the field early. He scored 2 tries and earned 2 try assists, made a line break and kicked a vital 40/20.


Prop: Andrew Fifita

Fifita was unreal for the Sharks and was pivotal in leading them to a win over the Raiders. He scored a try and was controversially denied another in the dying stages of the game. He ran for 233 metres and made a line break, 32 tackles and 4 tackle breaks.


Hooker: Cameron Smith

To celebrate his 300th game, Smith laid the platform for the Storm’s demolition of the Penrith Panthers, racking up 3 Try Assists, kicking 6 goals and making 33 Tackles.


Prop: Junior Paulo

Although playing for the losing side, Junior Paulo looked good, running rampart against the big Bulldogs pack, making 20 runs for 204 meters and making 28 tackles and 2 tackle breaks. He also earned a try assist, a rare feat for the Eels prop.


2nd Row: Kevin Proctor

Kevin Proctor played one of his better games of the season against an out of form Panthers side, scoring 2 Tries as well as making 132 meters, 5 tackle breaks and 26 Tackles.


2nd Row: Alex Glenn

Glenn played out of his skin for the Broncos, scoring 2 tries and earning a try assist. He also made a Line break, 5 tackle breaks and ran 139 meters.


Lock: Paul Gallen

Gal really stood up in his 250th game and led the side from the front running for 238 meters and making 42 Tackles.
